Authentic Experience

The Maasai here are the landlords, making it one of the last unspoiled areas of Africa. Connecting three national parks (Chyulu, Tsavo and Amboseli), the 280,000-acres reservation is home to a vast wildlife and birdlife population.

Discover the real Africa: the Maasai Mara (600 square miles) offers accommodation for about 5,000 guests (76 acres per guest). Our Group Ranch (about 400 square miles) has one lodge, with room for 16 guests (17,500 acres per guest). Here you will be in the real Africa, away from the minibuses and the noisy crowds. Being outside of a National Park you will be able to walk, in safety, escorted by your professional guide and Maasai tracker.

Campi ya Kanzi has two goals: help the Maasai preserve their wildlife and cultural heritage and treat you to the most memorable vacation of your life. You will learn about Maasai lifestyle, their land and their culture. You will learn it through them, in the most genuine way. And you will play a huge role in preserving this paradise on Earth!

Campi ya Kanzi is owned by the local Maasai community and managed with them by the founders, Luca and Antonella. By staying with us, you will enjoy true ecotourism and play an active role in the conservation of the land and of the Maasai culture.

Don't forget that for every day you spend at Campi ya Kanzi, a US$100 conservation fee is set aside to assist the Maasai community and to protect their wildlife. You will be seen for what you are: a benefactor, not simply a tourist. Your connection with the Maasai community not only will be genuine but also profound.

You will enjoy a pristine and diverse wilderness, inhabitated by amazing wildlife, from the big five, to rare species such us wild dog, cheetah, lesser kudu, mountain reedbuck, fringed ear oryx, gerenuk, to common species such us zebra, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, wildbeest, impala, gazzelles...

We will tailor-make the safari you like, according to your taste, abilities, needs and desires. You will feel like you are visiting a friends home, not just in another hotel for tourists.
